He served as General Chair of 2022 IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory, and is a member of the Executive Editorial Committee of IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications.

Research

The research interests of the communication theory group are in wireless networks, physical layer processing, coding theory and quantum information processing. The development of wireless systems keeps opening up new frontiers and enabling the use of methods of increasing sophistication to optimize system performance on all layers in Radio Access Networks (RANs).
